It’s interesting as more people test and use ChatGTP how its “shine” wears off. It is a good step forward with its conversational responses, but it still gets many things wrong.

Pretty representative of Chat GPT’s results. Around a C- in the soft fields and often an F in the hard ones. It may get better or this may be as far as the unguided learning model can go.
I have not seen any examples, but apparently it can produce working code by grabbing modules from here and there.

It reminds me of a first-year university student’s essay – a lot of big and complex sounding words put together to sound impressive, but the inclusion of a lot of factual errors shows the student doesn’t really know what they are writing about.
