This is more of a PSA than anything else but in the case you missed the latest Strategy and Wargaming News this is all about letting you know that the original Jagged Alliance Gold Edition is still free until tomorrow, so go ahead and grab it on Steam.

Just in case you’ve never heard about it, Jagged Alliance originally came out in 1994 and it’s highly inspired by Julian Gallop’s classic, X-COM. Highly acclaimed by gamers and critics alike, it’s a worthy addition to every library.

Despite it being extremely outdated and convoluted to play a quarter of a century later after its original debut and after having your gaming sensibilities tarnished by 25 years of UI improvements, it’s always fascinating to boot up ancient games and realized how far videogame has (or has not) come since then. So yeah, go ahead and grab it!
