Classified France ’44 is slated to hit digital shelves on March 5, 2024. Developed by Absolutely Games, and published by Team17 (from Hell Let Loose) Classified France ’44 promises to immerse players with gripping turn-based tactics set during the lead-up to the Allied invasion of France in June 1944.
Set against the backdrop of occupied France, players will assume the role of a ragtag bunch of operators working behind the enemy lines, commanding a team comprised of Allied commandos and French resistance fighters. The game offers an expansive array of missions, each presenting unique challenges inspired by real-life exploits of the Allies and French resistance. From stealthy sabotage operations to intense skirmishes, Classified France ’44 is XCOM, but set during the Second World War.
One of the standout features of Classified France ’44 is its distinct morale system, where every shot taken impacts the player and their adversaries (and vice-versa). Players must carefully manage their actions to suppress and outmaneuver enemy forces. Every shot counts, even when they miss.
Moreover, the game offers a richly immersive experience, allowing players to shape their team, customize characters, and equip them with a diverse arsenal of skills and weapons. With over 45 missions at their disposal, players can strategically choose objectives to support the resistance and further their ultimate goals of liberation.
The game will cost 34,99€ | $34,99 | £34.99.
