This Age of Sigmar RTS Might Be The Best Game Of The Franchise

The up-and-coming Realms of Ruin is looking lovely. After an underwhelming reveal a couple of months back that went mostly under the radar, the team behind this real-time-strategy title came out with a banger of a gameplay overview trailer, showcasing that every feature of the game is overflowing with love and care.

  • Cinematic Campaign – Promising a rich, character-driven story featuring four major factions. A tale of desperate conflict in a savage realm, co-written by Black Library writer Gav Thorpe;
  •  Eternal Conquest – It seems that every game must have a procedurally generated campaign these days. Hopefully, in RoR this won’t be limited to a scenario gauntlet with modifiers;
  •  Multiplayer – 1v1 and 2v2 cross-platform multiplayer matches with any mix of human and AI opponents;
  •  Map and Army Creation– The map creation looks decent, but a tad limited if I’m honest. However, the possibility of painting your own armies, and creating dioramas to show them off is just *a chef’s kiss*.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin launches on 17th November for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S at £49.99/$59.99/€59.99 for the Standard Edition, £59.99/$69.99/€69.99 for the Deluxe Edition, and £64.99/$74.99/€74.99 for the Ultimate Edition.
