A couple months back it was promised that a giveaway was going to take place during the holiday season. The time has finally arrived.
Strategy and Wargaming had a huge leap in viewership this last year, so I decided to put up every golden doubloon I made on advertisement towards this giveaway. This means that what you saw, is what you’re getting! Don’t go around calling me cheap, this is all on you!
So that’s why this year’s giveaway mechanic is different from the last. Instead of a “first-come, first-serve” in the comments, this year’s things will work one of two ways:
- You either subscribe to the website with your email down below and are automatically entering the raffle (people already subscribed are already considered for it).
- If you don’t want to put your email in there (I don’t know why you wouldn’t!) but have a Facebook account and don’t mind sharing this giveaway around, go to Strategy and Wargaming’s Facebook Page and share this post and you’ll be considered for the giveaway.
Then, every email will have a number attributed to them from 1 to how many there are and I’ll make use of a very complicated piece of software called “Random Number Generator” and will sort the games out by the order they’re shown below. After that, just wait for an email with your code and a thank you note from yours truly. You can expect your emails by the 10th of January.
Now, I’m not making promises, but if the number of people subscribed to the website gets a major increase, I’ll add a couple more games just as an even bigger thank you!
“The games, the games, the games! What are they?”
This year, up for the grabs will be the following digital entertainers:
Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition
Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game
Company of Heroes Complete Pack
Stronghold HD + Stronghold Crusader HD
Men of War + Men of War: Red Tide
Best of luck!
Follow Strategy and Wargaming Socials
Strategy and Wargaming needs you to follow its socials. Are we the best strategy gaming website around? I would say so. Heck, what other options do you have? The Wargamer? Please.
So why not give us a follow on the cesspool that is Twitter, or join the 1000 other geriatric patients on Facebook? Or subscribe down below? Or maybe do everything? I don’t care, I’m not your grandmother.

I’ve been running Strategy and Wargaming at my own expense since 2017, with only the ad revenue to cover the hosting, with everything else being done by me. So, if you’re an avid reader, you can afford it, and want to support the website, please consider Buying Me a Coffee by clicking this link, for as low as one euro! If you do, just know that you’re helping out a lot and contributing so that Strategy and Wargaming can continue growing!
