Strategy and Wargaming News- 13th May – Homeworld 3, Ultimate General: Civil War On Steam; Men of War 2 Out Soon

63 Days – Warsaw Uprising Videogame Announced

Destructive Creations has a wild catalogue of games under its belt: From the questionable Hatred and IS Defense to the excellent Ancestors Legacy, and in between with War Mongrels, the studio is finishing up its work on 63 Days, a gritty real-time tactics title set during the Warsaw Uprising.

From the little information available I’m speculating that 63 Days is going to be more Partisans 1941 than Commandos. I have to be honest, I enjoyed what I’ve seen so far. Hopefully, it turns out to be a great game.

The game is free, by the way, and it’s definitely one of the best wargames of all time.

Manor Lords Massive Update

Manor Lords took the gaming world by storm and quickly became one of the best-selling games of 2024 and one of the year’s most played. A couple of weeks after its release, Slavic Magic released its first major patch that rebalances archers, improves sawpits efficiency, overly high ale consumption, and the ability to use trading posts to trade between regions without the need for a Barter/Pack Station. New retinue variations were added and a new “Annual Royal Tax” mechanic will force players to pay the King a portion of their taxes. Oh, and Manor Lords also added a mourning period of 30 days for families of the diseased.
